Abby Shafer

Abby is a current graduate student at the University at Buffalo pursuing her Master’s of Science in Epidemiology. She graduated with dual undergraduate degrees in biology and sociomedical sciences in 2024 from SUNY Geneseo.

Abby has years of experience tutoring for the ACT/SAT, ecology, biology, physics, math, NYS Regents, and college AP exams. She has taught students from the ages of 12 to 22 both virtually and in-person. She strives to make the sessions about the students and their needs.

By using individualized study and teaching methods, she has seen over 15-point increases in students’ GPAs. Abby has lovingly been described as bubbly, happy to help, and approachable.
